Campus & Community

The Trinity School of Ministry training centre is based within the premises of New Life Church, Rugby. It lies within a couple of minutes walking distance of Rugby town centre, with a great range of shops and cafes etc.  (Look at the ‘Commuting’ section to see how accessible we are to most of the UK.)

Trinity School’s facilities are part of a newly modernized and refurbished building with lecture rooms, libraries and space for relaxation.

Although Trinity is a non-residential school, there is a strong sense of community amongst the staff and students. The ‘Freshers’ Week’ particularly focuses on building community, because we realize how important good relationships are both in education and in ministry.

Despite the fact that the commuting students are only in Rugby for part of the week, we count all students as an integral part of the student body and include them on our extra-curricular activities. All students, whether residential in Rugby or elsewhere, are included on the School Forum and invited to any staff/student social activities, and thus strong relationships exist across the student body.

Trinity School of Ministry is housed in the New Life Church Rugby premisses, which have recently been modernised. The facilities comprise two lecture rooms, both with projectors and wireless functionalities. There are also several offices in the building occupied by the school staff and staff of New Life Church, with whom we have a very good relationship. Disabled access is also available.

Trinity School of Ministry holds an extensive library of over 10,000 books, journals and audio visual items. It has been assembled over many years and houses a rich variety of material. All the main texts that students require for their assignments are contained in the library. All the books are catalogued on an electronic system, to which staff and students have access.

The purpose of the library is:

To support teaching, learning and research in the college.

To build and preserve a library collection which reflects breadth and depth in terms of subject area and theological perspective.

To provide access to a specialised resource base to those outside the college.

Those in theological education may, by special request, use the library facility after discussion with the librarian. If you are interested in this please contact the librarian at
